This is our second Alaskan cruise tour, first time on Holland and first time with our teen daughters. Alaska is amazing and a must do experience. We were pleased with Holland America. The Noordam is a smaller ship than we have cruised on in the past and made for a good experience. So many great excursions to experience and sights to see. We stayed in a suite for the size with added value of a separate lounge (so so), special concierge (good), easier embarkation (great), and complimentary laundry (amazing). Norwegians haven is a far better suite experience but I would do this again if sailing Holland. Alaska is always perceived as an older person cruise. Don’t wait. There are so many great experiences and you will have a blast.

Land/sea package. Started in Fairbanks; then to Denali; then Anchorage; then Seward; cruise to Vancouver.

Cruise was very good. The views were fantastic and enjoyed every minute of it.

Such an easy and comfortable way to see a new and very different and beautiful area of our world!

Loved the crew! Ship was old and tired. Food in the Pinnacle Grill was good. The Italian crew was excellent! Disappointed that shops were closed halfway through cruise.

This was a once in a lifetime cruise. HAL visited the most ports of all the other cruise lines. Total of 3 weeks from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

Won't go on Noordam again. We all wanted to mutiny!! Heading back to islands on Solstice as they are lovely.

It was a good cruise, the ship and staff were all very good at their job. It was a very clean ship and the staff were always helpful. Unfortunately, night time was very lacking entertainment wise. No dancing, the shows were just okay, they showed movies on two nights which I don't think is acceptable.

Read only the good reviews, they are all true. Holland America is the best. This itinerary was especial. The bad reviews, you just ignore, they were unfortunate. The standard is incredible, all the details are planned, sorted. The crew... what I can tell, they are amazing, making all the difference.

It was a bucket list experience. I travel with a different cruise line each year. What do they have to capture me. What pleases me and what does not. My quest continues.

This cruise was amazing! Everything was wonderful. Ship is a little dated but very clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Wish all my cruises were like this one!

HAL lost the opportunity to give us that "WOW! factor even before we boarded the ship and despite every attempt by the onboard staff to appeze our disappointment the "Bubble had already burst". Being an ex maritime officer with another cruise line for over 5 years and working in a 5 star hotel for over 15 years, I know what guests expect, and whilst your star rating is showing a 3.5 rating, my own personal rating would be in the region of 2.3

Great cruise, the HAL staff make the entire trip wonderful. The ship is tired, but the staff and service made the trip excellent. I will be more careful about picking updated ships in the future, but HAL meets all of our needs. Great food, good entertainment, the best of itineraries, other cruisers are mature (like us). We had bridge lessons and organized bridge which helped us meet people and made the sea days very short. If you like sea days this is the itinerary for you.

WARNING: DONT SAIL HOLLAND!!!! They change the itinerary and then wont give you a credit. Our ship missed Glacier Bay and when I contacted them to get a credit for that one day then refused. All they care about is the money!!!!!

Overall, we had a very good experience. There were six of us -our daughter and son-in-law and two grandsons (who came from Sydney), my husband and myself. My husband and I enjoy meeting people on a cruise, and interfacing with the staff. A big disappointment was not getting into the inner passage, which was the reason we chose this cruise. A passenger got ill and had to be removed and gotten to an airport. Due to circumstances, we had to head back towards Juneau. Not the fault of Holland. I decided to treat myself to a manicure. The staff in the spa was very nice, but my manicure had to be re-done. The polish did not properly cover the tips of my nails - I went back the same day to deal with the situation. We did enjoy and learn from the Windows 10 classes.

Disappointed to miss Glacier Bay due to a combination of weather and a medical emergency. So missed one of the reasons for booking

We enjoyed our first Alaskan cruise and would definitely like to come back again. This sailing was late in the season. If we were earlier in August or early September we would have hit the salmon runs and seen more bears and eagles which would have been nice. We also didn't get to Glacier Bay due to a medical emergency on board. It was very foggy that day and we might not have seen much anyway. So I definitely would like to see that. The ship and staff were first class. The entertainment also was terrific. Would sail aboard this ship anyday!

Our experience was outstanding. We loved the service, food and the ship. We will only ever have one first cruise experience and I am so glad it was to Alaska on the Noordam. The room felt very spacious and it seemed like the staff was always seeking a way to make the cruise the best for us.

Everything was great except for the cart expedition at Ketchikan.

Absolutely amazing and wonderful. Exceeded all expectations.
