This could make a great addition to your bucket list if it isn't on there already. The scenery is spectacular and the hospitality on the ship is wonderful.
Embarkation

Excellent, but it was probably because of a mistake. HollandAmerica instructed us to report to the cruise terminal at 4pm but we were the only guests there. We had many agents all rushing to help us. It turns out that everyone else had already boarded the ship and the safety drills had been completed. It was a strange experience being told to report at 4pm and doing so and no other passengers there. But we skipped the line!

Everything was excellent regarding the food. I ate at the buffet more often than the dining room, and I think the food at the buffets was better and offered more variety.
Onboard Activities

The only activity I did on the ship was to use the fitness center. It was well equipped and everything was nice and clean.
Entertainment

I enjoyed the entertainment on their World Stage. It was excellent and frankly, it exceeded my expectations.

It was small but serviceable. I didn't do anything in my cabin other than take showers and sleep, so its small size wasn't important, and I was going for cheap anyway. Stewards kept the cabin in excellent condition.
I wish the luggage had been better organized for pickup. Pay close attention when picking up your bags because your bag and your wife's bag may not be close together.
