Review summary

This was our third Caribbean cruise with HAL so we had been to all the ports before and didn’t feel we had to get off at every port. Two weeks was the perfect vacation for us, relaxing, unhurried, restorative. We made some nice friends. If you want to party hard and loud, day and night choose another cruise line.

Everything clean and lots of variety. Main dining was VERY noisy so we only ate there a few times. We ended up with a lot of room service and Lido buffet. Happy we had so many choices.

The dance acts were fantastic. Same with music. Comedian was just ok - clean the night we heard him but he let us know the next show was “adults only” so we skipped it. Dance acts were family-friendly. Top notch.

Amazing and fantastic. They are understaffed because the cruise industry is recovering from COVID but every single server was friendly, smiling, greeted us by name, remembered our favorite drinks, etc.

Cabin / Stateroom

Veranda cabin on the port side, highest deck with cabins. Amazing views and not much more sea motion than we’ve experienced on other cruises at lower decks. We walked up and down to everything, good exercise! And our favorite spot - Exploration Cafe- was just one flight of stairs up. We would stay in this cabin again.

Ship tip

There were very few children onboard. This is a positive or a negative, depending on your point of view. We have cruised HAL at Christmas and there were lots of kids.
