We have been on the Nieuw Amsterdam also and loved it. The only complaint we had was not having much to do at night. Everything else I would give 5 stars. Our cabin was great and the most friendly cabin steward we ever had. Every day coming in from the ports we would see him and he'd call us by name and ask how the port was. The food in the MDR was always absolutely delicious every night. Love the hamburgs and hotdogs at the Dive-in. Hamburgs were the best we've ever had. The pizza was also great and you would get the whole pizza, not just a slice and they were made to order. Also accompanied by delicious Caesar salad. The staff in the buffet were always smiling and helpful. Loved how they served you and never a wait.. Our ports were fantastic. One of our favorite cruises.
