My cabin was fine, but my sons had little to no air. Beware of room 1111. 80 degrees the entire trip. All ey gave was a fan for three people.

Ship tip

Buy soda package ahead of time. I waited till the first day and it was a complicated process. Cruised many times and never seen anything like this, even with this brand.

We had an issue with the air on Zuiderdam and were given an extra room. Obviously that might be different if the ship was at full capacity, but the staff were very helpful and even sent up a free bottle of wine. As for the lack of activities, did you read the daily calendar? They may not have all appealed to you, but it is rare for an hour to go without something planned

I disagree, however I was there last New Years so they may have had extra staff. The kids and teen clubs are both great options! My cousin and I also enjoyed bingo, the pools, the shows, parties, trivia, and things like that. We had a great time but also took some time in our rooms or in the library to relax or play games. It was also fun to watch movies in our room late at night. The kitchen was never understaffed and waiters found time to build connections with us. One of them made origami creatures for us and another did magic tricks. We had a fantastic time. I'm sorry your experience was not great, but I do want to say that is not the only view
