Don't miss walking out to the very front of the ship. You get on deck 4 (by the life boats) then walk forward until you see a stairway. Walk up the stairway and continue forward until you reach the bow (front) of the ship. This is where the helicopter pad is. There are bench there, you can see the bridge, and it is a great spot to watch the sunrise or do the classic "I'm the King of the world!" routine like in that famous cruise liner movie.
If you are sailing with children, this may be the perfect vacation for you. If you are only a couple sailing, and are looking for a relaxing vacation, this might NOT be a good option.
14th floor jazz bar usually no kids ,a nice place to escape the masses with great views glass a 180 degree viewing,12th floor deck in back of johnny rockets nice area to sit quietly and read a book and hanging out with adults mostly and a wind free zone.
Be aware there are no "do it yourself" laundry facilities on board. Encourage your kids to get involved in the kids clubs right from the start. They will meet new friends and have a great time.
TV selections are poor. Withe satellite one would expect U.S. versions of CNN.
Wifi should be free...just as it is in motels, hotels, cafes and airplanes.
When we come to a port of call that we've been to many times..we stay on the ship and hit the Solarium. It's pretty deserted and you have the run of the hottubs!
If you want to try something different on a port day(especially if you've been there many times) is to play MINI GOLF up on the sports deck..a fun time.
Avoid lunch rush at Windjammer. Try to hit before or after as the place is overloaded. The food selection is great and so is the crew, but some passengers are somewhat pushy and cut in line. There's plenty of food to go around. Also, there are other options for lunch.
