Navigator Cruise by KathleenF2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We had great company at our dinner table. The ship has something for everyone to do and is beautifully appointed. However, it is like being on the islands with people popping out everywhere asking for money. The "good food" had to be paid for. Dinner fare was marginal at best but for $50 per couple you could go to a restaurant on board and eat what you used to get as part of your sailing fee. And, this is definitely a smoker's ship. This should be stated on the company's website. The ventilation is such that no matter what deck you are on, you are walking through cigarette smoke. For a non-smoker, this is miserable. There was one non-smoking night at the casino which was a great idea but everyone smoked anyway and RCCL did nothing to stop it. Despite these things this is a beautiful ship and the itinerary and activities available were perfect.

Relaxng Cruise by LeslieB8

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Good cruise if you are looking to relax and enjoy the sunshine. There is alot of time on the ship so you will want to take part in the activities on the ship. The ports are very average and I strongly suggest an expedition in Jamaica as there is not alot to do on your own. The ship was huge and offered so many choices for food, shopping and bars.

Just loved The Royal Caribbeans's Navigator of the Seas. Everyone was polite, acted as if they really wanted to make our cruise a memorable one. Especially our waiter George. He was the best of all.

What a ship!!!!!!!!! by RoseG3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We haven't been on a cruise since '95 when Royal Caribbean cruise to Bermuda went out with hurricane Felix and wound up in the Bahamas instead. That soured us on cruises and future travel was by plane. Tried RC again and it was awesome with just a few hiccups (tours and some dining). Overall we may be back to cruising.

This is a first class ship line. The Navigator of the Seas, which we were on, is one of the largest. Very impressive!

We had an amazing trip. We were disappointed that the weather at one of our stops altered our plans a little bit, but we still had an amazing time. Definitely recommend this cruise ship and experience!!

Great Cruise for Families by Lr1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Navigator of the Seas is a great ship, we had a great family time. The staff was excellent! Food was excellent. There are a lot of activities: Rock Climbing, Ice Skating (very limited schedule), Roller Blading, miniature golf, fusball / basketball court. Which allows childrens and teenagers to do a lot of sports in the ship. The Shows were excellent. Dining room, menu and staff were excellent as well. The Gym was very well equipped. Spin classes are paid.

Relaxing, basic cruise by RobinS9

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our 2nd cruise and 1st time on the Navigator of the Seas. The ship was pleasant, clean, very friendly and gracious staff. Rooms were spacious. It was not booked to full capacity so we never had to wait in lines, etc. I would recommend the wine tasting event in the wine bar - educational and good wine. We also got great massages at the spa, but be prepared for the staff to try and sell you products at the end. The food in the main dining room and the Windjammer Cafe was average and nothing to write home about. Would definitely recommend breakfast and lunch in the main dining room instead of the buffet lines at the Windjammer...food was better. Very disappointed in the change of ports 10 days before we sailed. We were supposed to travel to Ocho Rios, Jamaica but they changed the itinerary to Montego Bay because there were going to be too many ships in Ocho Rios. Thank goodness for the supervised excursion in Jamaica, otherwise we would have stayed on the ship when we docked. Overall, relaxing vacation but would try a different ship next time to see the difference.

The Best Cruise Ever!! by SusanL8

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

My recent cruise on The Navigator of the Seas was just as I expected-great! I previously cruised on The Mariner of the Seas which is almost identical "sister ship" which was one of my favorite cruise ships. The Grand Promenade deck is always full of activities, shops, entertainment and pubs and cafe. The adult pool area is a nice quite place if that is what you desire and there is plenty of things for the children and teenagers to do. Johnny Rockets if fun and so is the minature golf and rock climbing on the sports deck. The library is a very relaxing place to pick out a book and kick back!

what we expected and more! by LarryR3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We have been on Navigator previously and knew it would be a great ship. They have so many things going on that we didn't get a chance to do everything we wanted to do. The itinerary was just great and many interesting off ship excursions were offered. I would recommend this ship to anyone, especially to those new to sailing. We personally love the pramenade rooms that overlook the inside of the ship.

Incredible Western Mediterranean Cruise by AnnW2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

This was our 3rd cruise but first time on Royal Caribbean. We sailed on the Navigator of the Seas and it was really a great experience overall. We were in a family suite as there were 6 of us and the amenities made us feel like royalty. The Concierge Service was the best I have ever had including evening happy hours, separate poolside areas reserved, reserved seating at the shows and more. The ship was extremely clean, the staff knew our names and the service all around was 5 star. The food in our dining room was also excellent and every night was a fun and unique experience.
