The BEST ANNIVERSARY EVER by Mrsduper

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I can not single out one thing.  it was exactly what we wanted, needed and more we had a fabulous time from the pool area to the shows to dining with some awesome people we had met.  The staff were so awesome.  I loved that they show the staff appreciation at Dinner and they sing to us.

Thank you!

we have already scheduled for next yrLove

After several spring break college students being obnoxious and intoxicated beyond limits I have realized that 5 and 6 night cruises are not up our alley.7 and I night from here on out.

The best time of my life by dscowan1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

If you're looking for a getaway, go Royal. I enjoyed everything about the ship. Can't wait until my next cruise. 😊😊😊😊 When we got back in Miami, I was sad because it had ended and I wasn't ready for reality to set in. They make cruising very easy and after the first night  it was a breeze. Great job

Scrapbook-cruise Aboard the Navigator by Cruiser10954874

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Everything about the cruise was wonderful. The pairing with scrapbooking was genius. Quick Quotes is a great company and Patsy was more than generous with freebies, raffles, and free make and takes. Everything aboard the cruise was of the finest quality. Cleanliness, comfort, service, food, and activities were great. The shore excursions were informative and fun. We did 3 and I would rate 2 of them 10+. I was a first time cruiser and if all cruises are like this one, I would go again in a heartbeat!!!

Aged ship - in needs of some repairs and RCCL coprorate issues by JamesR14

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The cruise started out of the very inadequate Miami port - more on that later - day 1 was uneventful except our junior suite telephone did not work (took 3 days to get a replacement). Second phone also could not accept transferred calls.  Day 2 started with a request for anyone with O negative blood.  That's not good - then it quickly turned to we are turning around and heading back to Miami - the person was airlifted off - and we were back on our way.  We made all ports fine - good work by the captain.  Weather was slightly off and slightly rough all week - but again we made all ports - i heard other royal ships could not dock in all ports.  Again good job by our captain.  Further - shows were good - entertaining.  Ship band and singers very good!  Now on to more issues - we purchased a special California wine tasting dinner through Royal corporate for day 3 - we did the purchase 6 months before the cruse - when i inquired about where to be - the response was what dinner?  well it even showed on my itinerary on the tv in my cabin - i asked for a manager - that is like asking for the president - again it took several days to get credit and i was finally told that this was deleted  a few months ago - Royal had my $$ for 6 months and never felt an obligation to return my funds until i complained vigorously.  Now onto more - our toilet had to be replaced - the chefs table was cancelled at 4:30 on the day of the event.  But i will say by now management knew me and did take care of us.  they did a special chefs table on the last night and then gave us a 30% off a future cruise.  I do think when the proper people found out what was happening - things got attention.  Disembarking was a joke - the escalators - all of them were broken at Miami port - again Royal needs to evaluate Miami - its a terrible port.  Luggage also was a mess - my wife's bag came off - but no where was mine - after looking for any agent that cared to help - i filled out a lost/stolen bag form - then all of a sudden my bag comes out way after the last bags were sent - who knows what happened to my lost bag form.  After all of this - i still say we had fun - the ship needs work - but Royal did get it right.

WORST CRUISE EXPERIENCE , LACKS FOOD AVAILIBILITY & SHIP AGE SHOWS WELL by abe2fl

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

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

Attitude Attitude Attitude by speedylaster

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The overall cruise was very good. Food in the main dining was excellent as I have experienced on all R/C cruises.  The shows were very good and lots of opportunities to see them.

The attitude of several of the Bar Staff at different venues needed drastic improvement.

The only thing you can enjoy on Labadee is the beach.  You cannot shop, the locals hound you to the point of aggravation.

Review of Olga Martinez by OlgaMartinez

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The bathroom of the ship although was small was very well designed.  The cover sheet was very soft and pillows were comfortable.  Elevators were pretty.

It was too crowded  Too many people all over.  Too many people in the Windjammer room and not easy to find a table.

There should be an indoor area where one can go sit to read a book and relax like the "DIamond Club" for all people

pretty good cruise by JimTh

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

good food......excellent food service....nice ship...

mediocre intertainment...cruise crowd predominately 65+.......including me..

9 hours of entertainment...I knew 3 songs..don't know who the other songs were directed to...it wasn't to the mainstream....good singing group but they're lyrics were overly repetitious...RCL productions had good costumes but were over produced.....Mr Bojangles is a solo song...the ABBA tribute had a cast about six times the size of ABBA...way too much...ABBA was great as a foursome...Ballrooom Fever had one ballroom number..misnamed...

Robert and Alona served table 563 and were exceptional; and fun

Shame on you Royal Caribbean by frenchieheart

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

We started cruising in 1990 and have done 27 of them and this was the Worse cruise ever-worse check-in process, worse quality of food, worse entertainment, and by far, the worse disembarkation process ever. Quality of food was not good in the main dining room and then they bugged us everywhere we were on the ship to buy into their dining packages.  So they lower the quality so they can make you pay more to get the quality that you should have gotten for what you originally paid for. Long lines on check-in day with long waits and no place to sit. The Ice show was good, the stage shows were OK, the rest of the nights entertainment were comedians with the first one pretty good but they got progressively worse until the last night where people were  parading out of the theater because he was so bad. Debarkation was a disaster-they told us to meet in the main dining room at 7:45 AM for an 8:00 AM departure.  When we got off the elevator on the 4th floor to go to the dining room, we could go no further. people were all jammed up and we stood there in front of the elevators for half an hour with no ship staff around to give direction. When we finally got into the dining room, no one was sitting.  There was a long line parading through the entire dining room like a herd of cattle and after an hour and a half of standing and being paraded around we were finally off the ship.  SHAME ON YOU ROYAL CARIBBEAN.

Best cruise Best way to travel by jackie0607

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I want to make this short and simple. I was worried because this was my first time on a cruise, but Royal Caribbean navigator of the seas was a magical experience! They had so many activities, and the staff was absolutely amazing. I will have to say the servers for the food and almost all the bartenders made us really feel like ROYALTY which was are favorite part. Rooms were always maintained very clean and it was a gorgeous boat in every aspect. Defitnetely recommend buying the alcohol package for those that know they will be drinking more than just a few beers. Thanks for the great experience😎

The shows and the casino. I would recommend it to others. As a matter of fact a friend of mine is taking the same cruise this week. The ice dance was a very good performance. Staff was very friendly. They were prepared to be very helpful

Our third cruise, second time on this ship by Lrcritter

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Labadie, Haiti, Aruba and Bonaire were great. Not so much for Curacao.

Entertainment was the same, comedy, dancing, magician, etc. Music was WAY TOO loud.

cheap line by dalyted

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

You refused to allow a discount on the internet when you sent me a email with several hours to respond to get the discount. I sent an email (and called) and got a response 8 days later saying we had to act in the first 72 hrs. You also had me lose the tips being paid because I had to wait 4 days to have you confirm the booking. I also paid $1200 more as you refused to honor the inline rates as I am a travel agent.

You also NEVER gave anything to me as a freebie. Not a bottle of water at Labadee. The food at dinner was mediocre at best. Lousy experience. I am still waiting for an email response from 4days ago.
