4 and 5 nights are generally booze cruises.

^^^ I would assume the summer Alaska crowd is generally tamer than the the summer Caribbean crowd. Sounds like 2 nice cruises you have planned!

We usually cruise November - February, but not when school/college is out. However, we have Alaska this Summer with extended family and Panama Canal next October because we got a good deal.

Oh, and ZERO groups of drunk young adults. The clubs really could have used a few some nights 😎

March with it's fine weather is definitely a great time to cruise on longer, more expensive cruises. Just off Harmony 3/11-3/18. We had seven 14-19 year olds and they were rather dissapointed at the lack of roaming bands of suburban teenage pirates. This group of teens noted a marked decrease over similar cruises the last several spring breaks on the older, less expensive Allure and Oasis, etc. They still managed to meet friends and all 15 of us had a great time. My experience, apples to apples (ship to ship) is that summer crowds are the worst, least experienced, least capable, most demanding, least gracious cruisers, with the worst behaved kids. Just my experience on the big ships, 7 dayers.
