Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
A friend asked me what my favorite dish was, and I could not even think of one meal that I was completely great about. I did however ordered the Surf and Turf at $32.99, which I was not happy we had to pay for, other cruises I have been on gave at least one night of lobster but not this one. So the plate came and the lobster tail was of 2 inches long and shriveled up and had a terrible taste. I told the waiter and he got the Maître d' who came over and I explained to her, next the Chef came and I explained my issue to him. He said thank you for the feedback we appreciate it. Did they try to make it better NO, did they refund me NO they still charged me and did not try to make it better. I found that extremely wrong for how much I had paid for the cruise.

Onboard Activities

The activities were a joke. And the prizes the ship gave were even worse. One game the prize was a Highlighter, other was just one of those cheap can cozy. We went to the search a word trivia, to be given a paper and said have fun. It was not game or competition just sit and do this search a word. What a joke. They put out information on the bag toss, I call it Corn hole, that it was avail and gave times. It was the piss poorest looking set up. The games was plastic so it was warped, the one side was broken and laying on the ground and that is all they had One and it was just shoved over on the wall of the pickle ball court. That was very disappointing. Went to the stretch session early morning and the instructor was grumpy and rude.

Entertainment

Ice skating, singing was good. The adult game quest that the cruise director was running was ridiculous. I can't believe people would do the stupid ass stuff that the cruise director was asking them to do. Plus, at times he was extremely rude to the audition and actually told one group to SHUT UP. The other trivia that was hosted by the little blonde girl with an accent, were a joke as well. First I'm not sure if its because she is from somewhere else but she can not read. She was trying to read things on the screen and she was misprouncing wordings or change them all together. It was sad. Another game she did by the pool was a scavenger hunt, the final thing the last two people had to do was get sunblock lotion from someone and then to put as much as they could on their face. What the heck, I paid 15 dollars for my sunblock lotion and she just had them waste for her game and the winner got a can cozy. Pissed over that!! I checked into the wave rider and the guy was like it costs $69 for 7 minutes. What the hell, we paid $2000 (way more than I should have paid, not worth half that) and felt like I was being ripped off everywhere I turned.

Children's Programs

We had one 10 year in our party and when asked how he liked the arcade while we were in the elevator he said IT SUCKED. In the elevator were some other boys around 15-17yrs and they all yelled out YEAH IT REALLY SUCKS.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
I'm giving one star only because at the guest counter we asked how we get tender tickets for the port and was told that there are no tickets anymore. But was not told how to get on a list for tender. So we were thinking we didn't need to get on any list since it was not told to us. Only to find out we did and did not get a number and had to wait until all the numbers were called.

Ship Quality

I liked the placement of our room to where we were.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our staff kept our room perfect. She was wonderful and I apprecited her. Only issue is the placement of the toilet paper, it is right under the sink and the water from the sink drips down and saturates the roll of toliet paper so the end sticking out was always wet. Also, at night the windy was so bad the slider door did not close air tight and it made a howling noise all night long!!!

Ship tip

Don't go on this cruise. It is obvious that this ship just goes back and forth to mexico and the staff is not up to cruise standards that I have experienced out of Florida.

Typical, you get off and bombarded with people trying to get you to take excursions and buy stuff.
