This was a totally different experience of a cruise, from the Caribbean, to a Mexican Riviera.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was very fast and seems to be very organized. By doing all of our pre-cruise registration online on the app made it a whole lot faster. We didn't even have to go to the check-in location. Where they want to take your credit card and your pictures. Because we had already done that before we even boarded the ship. They simply looked at our boarding passes and sent us straight to security and on to the ship we went.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food on the cruise was very good. We ate every night in the main dining room at my time dining. Our lunches were usually in the buffet. Breakfast time the buffet and one or two days in the main dining room for breakfast. And to make it easier on embarkation day so we didn't have to battle the crowd at the buffet we had booked hooked seafood restaurant for lunch. This was a great idea I recommend it to other people to book a specialty restaurant for embarkation day just so you do not have to hassle with the crowd at the buffet.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
There were lots of activities going on all day long. They usually started activities early in the morning I would say about 8:00 until about 2:00 a.m. things going on all the day. And all over the ship. Sometimes they even had things going on in two different venues that I really would have liked to have participated in but just simply didn't have the time or enough body to be in two places at once.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The entertainment was great on the ship. I went to about two or three shows. And enjoyed them. And because this was a Christmas holiday cruise the crew staff got to be creative with their choreography and create their own show on board. Very interesting and entertaining.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service was great and friendly. Always polite and service was fairly fast.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was laid out very well. And as far as cleanliness super duper clean. They were always cleaning something somewhere.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin was kept clean by our cabin steward. On this ship we only had the one steward. Normally he he or she has a helper. But not on this ship they must have been short-staff still. But he was able to do the job efficiently and keep the cabin well maintained.
This poor was pretty nice. Got off the ship rode the little train trolley up to the little market area shopped a little bit got some souvenirs. Went back to the ship let my wife know because she has to use a power wheelchair that the little trolley was handicapped accessible, and she could simply take her scooter onto the trolley and ride it to the little shopping area. So we both went back together and looked around some more and bought some more things.
Glad you enjoyed the Mexican Riviera "little ports". Actually PV has about 3 times the population of Cozumel and Mazatlan about 5 times. They are old cities rather than ports created for Tourism so to me, they have a different feel than some of the eastern Mexican ports.
