Review summary

I anticipated more issues with masking, but most people cooperated with the rules. I felt safe and comfortable, even though I have fairly strong covid anxiety. There were always quiet spots to avoid crowds when we wanted them. The outdoor walkway on deck four, the day beds on deck 13 forward, and the large tables suitable for gaming on the side of the pool deck were my favorite spots. The Mexican place was absolutely awesome.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate in the Windjammer for dinners and as always, the Indian food and the Asian food were the best things they had available.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Loved the mini golf course. The movies offered at the pool deck were great, but the tv screen needs to be fixed or replaced because it's not in great shape. That said, we watched a movie there and still enjoyed it.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The ice show featured a drone light show, and it was all really cool and impressive. 2/3 of the theater was vaccinated seating, 1/3 was social distanced (kids and their families) seating. The crowd was required to be masked and I'd say 98% of people followed the rules.

Cabin / Stateroom

Spacious Oceanview Panoramic Window cabin exceeded expectations. It felt really big to me. The window was floor to ceiling and wall to wall. I usually don't cruise without a balcony, but I would absolutely stay in this room again if I had a reason to skip a balcony.

Ship tip

The day beds near the mini golf course are out of the way of the pool deck, so they're quiet and relaxing and a perfect spot to read.

There were sea lions at the pier which were very loud but really fun to watch.

She's a Geisha cocktail from Izumi (and a bar near Izumi, on this ship that's the Cosmopolitan Club). Junmai grade sake, rose syrup, and muddled berries. The Mexican food on the pool deck was great. The pork carnitas tacos with pico were my favorite. The drinks in the photo are the Lime & Coconut (the Lime & Coconut bar's signature drink).
