Review summary

For our first time there couldn't have been a better itinerary. We got to experience the private cruise island side and the regular non-private island side. We did sign our kids up for Ocean Adventure but never found a time where we needed it honestly. It couldn't have been a better experience for us. We all had a blast and can not wait to board our next cruise!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining room is EVERYTHING. IF you go on this ship request Jose, he was incredible. He was so funny and always went out of his way to make my daughter, myself and my husband feel special on this trip. Truly he is one of a kind!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was so much to do we didn't even do 3/4 of it. There was always something going on whether it be trivia, pool activities, cooking classes, the casino, the parties. There was never nothing to do!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were incredible especially El Gaucho, The I-Skate Show and Showgirls. El Gaucho was something I have never seen before. He was total entertainment he was very funny, did amazing tricks and could sing and play guitar! The ice show was great. The fact that 8 skaters could perform on such a small space and so it so gracefully and do back flips was amazing. Showgirls was beautiful, the costumes and live singing was gorgeous.

Service and Staff

Again Jose in the main dining room deserves all the accolades, he is by far the most amazing waiter on that ship! Our room steward Junior was so nice. He always had a smile even though I know being a cabin steward is the hardest job on the ship.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Once we got the lay of the ship down it was very easy to navigate. It was beautiful inside and out.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were a bit worried before boarding because my husband is a big dude, but were pleasantly surprised. Our cabin was an ocean view with 2 Pullman beds and a king (converted twins). We had no complaints. Our next cruise we have a balcony but just becasue we wanted to see the difference we have no problems with the oceanview cabins.

Ship tip

The pizza is the best after 10pm at the Cafe Promenade!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Very easy to navigate and simple to board. Don't care to ever go to Miami again otherwise the city just wasn't for us.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

Loved the island, its just unfortunate the waterpark was so much money for 3 slides. The beaches were beautiful and the pool was good too.

Nassau, Bahamas

People have a lot of bad things to say about Nassau and I get it, I do. But we researched long before our cruise and decided to go to Love Beach. We quickly made our way through the gates and up to Fredrickson Street and got on the #10 Jitney. The ride was a bit long 25 mins with stops but once we made it to Nirvana Beach Bar we were beyond happy we made that choice. You enter through the bar to get to the beach. When you walk in there is a nice guy who offers you chairs $5/chair and he walks them out to wherever you want to go. The beach is pristine and there are reefs everywhere. So much so there a ton of tide pools right at the shore with a TON of fish. My daughter put the GoPro on her snorkel mask and we went through the footage last night and we saw at least 5 types of fish. It is incredible just because they are 3ft deep tide pools. There also a hair braider there named Donna. She charges 1/2 of what they charge by the port and includes beads. I know this because we did ask the braiders in by the port on our way back we got a great deal from Donna. The #10 runs about every 1/2 hour so when we were ready to leave we ordred food and when the bus came he waved us up and waited for us to walk up to him. For us Nassau was amazing, you just need to do your research before if your not planning on booking an excursion and going off by yourself think about choosing Love beach.
