Review summary

Short cheap getaway was successful and fun. We went on this cruise to advance to next level of CAS but it was still enjoyable.

Even for an interior stateroom, the cabin was as expected. Stateroom attendant was very nice to us as usual. We normally book balcony or above, but this was a cheap getaway, and the interior room was okay for the short 3 day cruise.

This ship has been amplified now, so make sure you check out the new features like the water slides.

Nassau, Bahamas

Been to Blue Lagoon Island before which was amazing, but this trip we walked around and went to the Queens Staircase and the main shops around the port, including the straw market. Locals are very pushy, but that’s how they make money...from tourism. We ended up not buying anything and going back to the ship to avoid being bothered by locals. Not much else we wanted to do in Nassau this trip.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

Overall, we had a good time at cococay. We purchased tickets to the water park and we were among the first to ride the tall water slides. We walked around the island and got much and tried to snorkel but there wasn’t much to see because there was a lot of sand in the water. We rode more slides and got tired and went back to the ship. It was a fun day, but we were also sore for several days from the water park. The water slides have several drops which bump and bruise your body!

I get doing a short cruise to get to a next level. We did our first in October. I am not a fan of the short ones. Not enough time. I probably won’t do another short one unless it is getting to another level.
