Review summary

This cruise line caters to families better than single adults. The longer cruise helped us relax better and the ship and crew were fabulous. The weather cooperated and was nothing but blue skies and calm seas. All in all a perfect experience.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We drove to Miami and once we found the port everything went smoothly. Traffic on Interstates is confusing & GPS hardly helpful

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We liked the buffet better than main dining room. We learned at the buffet to head all the way to the back before choosing any food as it seemed like better food was there, plus the chefs making special orders are back there.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools and spas were very good. We were with my son and his family so spent a lot of time wandering the ship and browsing for presents for the grandkids.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Really enjoyed finding the piano player riding the elevators and entertaining everyone. The seating at some of the shows filled so fast we couldn't get in. Be sure and get there early

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Granddaughter had a blast. Was constantly wanting to go there.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All were friendly and really cared to help.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship had just been renovated (about 6 months before) and everything was shiny and new.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was very nice and comfortable. Wife complained about size of shower, but that is something she does everywhere we travel. Electrical plugs are at a premium so be sure and bring a power strip so everything can get charged. The view from the balcony was amazing. Calm seas and blue skies. Our room was at front of boat so got a little breeze while sitting there.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Went to Blue Lagoon which was very nice and would definitely revisit, but the town has never been one of my favorites. Dirty and infested with locals trying hard to separate you from your money.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Words cannot do the place justice. The free side is great, but definitely purchase a ticket for the other side. The wave pool, and the water slides are awesome. They have the tallest water slide in North America and my 8 year old granddaughter was absolutely fearless riding it over 5 times.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
took our luggage off with us and was off the boat and in our car in less than 30 minutes. Definitely use passport to get through customs quicker.

Have since learned that it is the power strips that have surge protectors in them that are discouraged. Apparently something to do with ship's power system.

I purchased this from Amazon specifically for cruise from Amazon. cost about $16.00. Had it on desktop the entire time and steward never mentioned it. Worked great because it had both a/c and USB ports. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MNFF4HZ/ref=dp_cerb_2

Thank you for your great review! One question, I thought we were not allowed to bring a power strip or extension cord??
