Definitely was a memory of a lifetime for a family of seven.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We travel generally with Royal Caribbean, this trip we brought my in-laws and my handicap brother inlaw. Royals employees were amazing taking great care in helping our family make getting him aboard the ship so smoothly. It was such an easy process. Comparing Galveston's embarking and Miami's however Miami earned an A+, Galveston has a lot to do to be better.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The new specialty restaurants Hooked and Jamie's Oliver are definitely worth trying. Chopped is always on point. We did not try Izumi, Bamboo, Playmakers or Johnny Rockets this go around. We loved the grab and go new Taco/Burrito bar
Onboard Activities

My family or my husband and my boys really enjoyed the new water slides on the ship I think that is what they only did. My in-laws and myself just chilled out in loungers.
Entertainment

We saw both Comedians that had shows on the Navigator of the Seas, however, Paul Ogata, was our favorite.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
From embarkation, waiters, stewards and all other ship personnel were on point. We never had a problem with any of the staff.
Ship Quality

This was our first time on the Navigator of the Seas and the ship layout was quite similar to our normal ship Liberty expect that the Navigator has and of course all if its new more restaurants, loved the updated shops, we tried the new Escape Room (Thumbs up, a must try), the new slides were a hit with my boys & husband. The cleanliness along the Promenade and up on the pool areas the staff were very quick to remove plates and trash from each area. However, when people take their dishes to their rooms then place them outside their staterooms it would have been better if the stewards handled getting the dishes out of the hall way faster. People would not pay attention and walk into the dishes spreading food down the hallway.
Cabin / Stateroom

This was our first time in a Junior Suite, loved the roominess of the bathroom. This room made you feel like you were not crammed into a shoebox. It would be nice if the room we had could have shared the balcony with the other room we had booked for our in-laws who were next door. But we had the AFT end rooms so it was understandable that it needed to be a little more safer.
Ship tip
My advice for anyone sailing on the Navigator of the Seas, the drink packages do not cover the new Starbucks, you will want to be prepared to be charged for them to your account. Two Venti Frapps cost me about $15.
What can I say about Coco Cay? I can say that it is a great little Island with a lot to do. I recommend getting a Cabana, yes it costs but it gives you great cover from the heat, a hub for your family if they are doing multiple activities going on. We booked the Chill Island Cabana's, the little swim area provided was peaceful and fun. My husband and my youngest son did the parasailing they had a really great bonding experience that they will have forever. Both my boys (I have 2) and their Dad did the water park they had so much fun there. We as a family all seven of us did the Up Up and Away (Hot Air Balloon Ride) it was definitely an oh wow moment for all of us. The only downside of the whole experience was all the walking we had to do to everything. They do provide trams but not to everything, they do have wheelchairs with huge tires to get your handicapped people around which was helpful. The shopping provided you can only use your seapass card at two of them. The Straw Market is cash only and not run by Royal Caribbean. Even though they advertise that you do not need your excursion tickets you only need your seapass card that is not true, bring your tickets they will ask for them.
We did the the Atlantis and Dolphin Cay excursion the trip was something that we will talk about for a long time. As I said before we had a handicap person with us. There was no way to take his wheel chair with us so he had to do a lot of walking and stair climbing. My boys loved the water slides, our family loved soaking the Baths area of Atlantis. The experience with the Dolphins was so much fun and a bonding experience. My brother in-law (handicapped) was so excited and could not get enough out of the experience. The staff was so great with him and patient with his needs. They even made sure that we had safe ride back to the Coral tower by giving us a lift on a cart. So our day started off rough but ended with a life long memory.
