Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Staff was incredible and accommodating. They went out of their way to offer items not on the regular menu.

Moses and Angeles were are waitstaff and did an incredible job every night.
Onboard Activities

The Spa and fitness center were not overly crowded. Equipment was in excellent condition and worked well. CJ in the spa was amazing with both the hot stone and the bamboo treatments.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Onboard ship entertainment can be hit and miss. This was a rare final cruise for the main theater cast as a new cast was coming on board the end of the cruise. So, I was able to see the same shows with two different casts going back to back cruises.
Royal Theater

Amazing shows and talent.

Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship is a few years old, but the ship looks to be in great condition overall. Crew was constantly keeping public areas around the ship clean. Bathrooms were constantly making sure hand towels were available and trash was revolved and sinks were clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
I stayed in a JR suite on Deck 10, Port side, mid-ship. I love this cabin for the large walk-in closet and the larger bathroom with tub and shower. The extra space in the room is an added bonus, especially when staying onboard for a longer time.
Ship tip
Get to know your crew and call them by their first names. They love to show they remember yours and if you return the gesture, I found a lot of extra items were offered.
I did not get too far off the ship in this port. I have been here many times and if I do not have a dive or snorkeling booked, I tend to keep it low key.
It kinda sucks that they shut down almost all the stuff at 10pm. I would like to see the pool, glow rider, rock wall stay open till at least midnight. I mean come on there are some younger people on the ship that don't want to sit in a smoke filled casino and piss away there money they saved up for this cruise. I like Royal but I would like to see if the attractions are open later on different ships like the oasis, harmony and other ships....
We loved the cruise. And the ship. We just had mediocre service and rude staff encounters. An excellent excursion. To take in Bonaire is the glass bottom Kayak and snorkle..if you like to do that sort of thing. The kayak part is work, but the snorkeling was worth it!! You need to find Orlando...in Chops grill. He is AMAZING and fun and will set you up! I hipe.tou have a fantastic time!
