Review summary

The ship and our cabin was excellent. Our room was spacious, updated and beautiful. The best we've had so far. Everything else such as the food, customer service and on board activities were mediocre. That can be improved. The shopping on board was great. The embarkation can be improved for suite guests and disembarkation was unorganized with the bags.

We were suite guest and had the chance to eat breakfast at the Chops Grille in the morning. The breakfast was mediocre and did not meet our expectations. They did not have a good variety and did not offer many differences. We ended up going to the Windjammer for one of those days because they had more variety. We were expecting to have more selections than what was offered. Also one of those days, the food was terrible. The specialty dining food was pretty good. The Sabor restaurant was terrible. We are used to great authentic Mexican food and this did not come close. The dinner at Giovanni's and Chops Grille was good.

Onboard Activities

We would have liked more couple's activities especially since it was a Valentines cruise. There were a few things but not enough where couples could interact with one another and together. Also it would have been nice to know somethings ahead of time to plan our wardrobe. I liked the ice skating and Broadway shows. The 70's party was fun also but that is about it.

The staff were okay. I waiters and waitresses at Izumi and Giovanni's were nice. The Chops Grille waiter seemed over worked and not very personable.

The cabin was awesome. Very spacious and beautiful. I loved the bathroom with the double vanity sinks and jetted tub. We had big spacious closets and a nice size room. The biggest suite so far for our money. We had a great experience with our room. No complaints there.

The suite concierge was great! We had a seperate lounge that we were able to go to daily and there was a concierge in there to help you with your daily needs. She was in there during specific hours. They had drinks and hor d'oeuvres in there. We met a lot of friendly people.
