Review summary

The ship was great. The promenade deck was awesome and there was plenty to do. There needed to be an adults only area. They said the solarium was for adults but it was not enforced. Now for the bad: The food was the worst I have ever experienced on a cruise. Most of us did not finish our meals in the dining room. They introduced the other restaurants that you have to pay a minimum of 25 per person a meal and let all other food go way down hill. The Captains Diner was terrible. The worst thing on the ship was bar service. The servers were great but there just was not enough of them. We waited 15min per drink (non-alcoholic or alcoholic) and sometimes up to 45min at a bar. We would not get our drinks at diner sometimes until our main course had arrived. Again, this is not on the servers themselves it was just a lack of them or the management of them. They worked hard and were very gracious.

The Crew was great and kind. There was just not enough of them or it was unorganized. They had one sever in the whole casino walking around at times. At the peak hours!

Go to Dune River Falls, but get your own taxi. Cost us $45 for our own private tour and did not have to hold hands on the way up. We climed all over the place.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Everything is on your SeaPass here. This place is pretty cool. Get ready to get hassled in the shopping area.

Angie I can not believe you would pull gratuities from ALL the serving staff of a Ship because one person did not answer your question promptly and immediately....WOW.

We went to the main dining room for lunch one time. I asked our server what the soup of the day was when he poured my water. He said, "I'll get to that". I pulled the gratuities off my bill and never went back to the main dining room.

That suprises me as well. We were on navigator April 24th and I spent pool time in the solarium and no children were in there. The bar service was great never had a issue. Main dining was excellent as well.

I have had excellent bar service on all 3 cruises on RCC and they delivered to people constantly!

I swear the bar service went downhill when beverage packages were introduced. I think they laid off staff and expect you to go get your own now

Your comments surprise me. We were on Navigator in Dec. Solarium was strictly enforced fire guests 16+ and we found the main dining room food amazing. Cannot comment on bars as this was not a service we used.
