Review summary
Four adults and one toddler. Had superior service from the dining room staff, any attendant yo could run into, and especially great folks in the casino. So many choices for excursions, though we found ourselves the most relaxing beach at each port. Belize and Honduras were incredible. We had all done different parts of Mexico before, and Cozumel seems like just another Cancun-like location, but it was still nice.
Amazing that a 13 year old ship could feel a bit tired in spots, but it did. It's a grand ship, though the pools felt small, and knowing what is on current vessels made us feel like we were on "the older one." Still very comfortable, smooth, and clean.
Food was delicious, both in main dining and in the specialty restaurants. I would highly recommend this cruise, particularly for those getting their feet wet with cruising, because it was very affordable, great experience, and unique enough to wet the palette for more.
We were in the casino by 10, so we didn't spend much time with the evening entertainment. The lounges were always festive and busy.
Thank you Royal Caribbean for a wonderful break from the grind.
