Review summary
This was a perfect cruise for my wife and I. We rested and relaxed and enjoyed the nightly dinners. I also enjoyed the daily sporting competions (putt putt, shuffleboard, ping pong, basketball) while my wife read a book. Cozumel is your first port and I highly recommend the Cozumel 12 Metre America's Cup sailing adventure. This trip allows you to actually work the sails and compete against another sailboat. Just remember they "expect" you to work on this sailing adventure. The 2nd port was Grand Cayman in which we did not take an excursion. We just walked around the shops near the port. Final port was Jamaica which has a large "enclosed" shopping area. This area was just as expensive as the shops on the boat. We did venture out past the gates and quickly retreated as the locals are very pushy. Be careful if you do leave. The ship itself has been remodled and looked great. Nightly shows were hit or miss, but the one we enjoyed the most was the ice dancing. Make sure you get your tickets the day of embarkment. Our only concern was not able to get a full meal after 9pm. They only have a small cafe that is open 24 hours a day and serve the same things all day (pizza, sandwiches and desserts)
