The intimacy of the smaller Oceania Ship is special, we have sallied on Nautica twice and love the ship and the crew and would not hesitate to sail again and again.

Dress appropriately for the specialty restaurants and for tea time.

Ideal size ship. When you arrive in port you are not in a crowd of 3000 people. Small enough to get to know people.

Room service is prompt even if call during "rush hour" for breakfast. Some full day excursions don't include lunch. Get a roll, salami and cheese from the Terrace Cafe during breakfast hours before disembarking.

I loved my walkabouts on the 10th deck. Also the gentleman who handled the internet services was very very helpful. The Dining facilities were excellent. I would use Oceania again, for sure

This was a difficult trip to pack for because the weather could range from 40 to 75 degrees and high chance of rain. We departed September 9 and the weather was very warm /comfortable throughout and Zero rain which is unusual for England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales

The area where smoking is allowed is much too close to the Spa and smoke was emanating in the corridors around it. Some tours need Whisper System so guides can be heard. Do not use the beauty salon. 70 lbs for a wash & blow dry and an extra 24 to use flat iron or curling iron...Poor job!

Most of the cruise, the water was smooth as a bath water.

On this ship it is important to has a cabin centered in the ship. We did hit some rough waters and it is a small ship without the stabilizing system of the larger O ships. We also were called first for disembarking at ports.

Be aware that the weather can be horrible. We missed 4 planned excursions due to not making it to ports or being allowed into Mozambique.

Alcohol is expensive but you can take your own onboard as long as you consume it you cabin.
