Review summary

Ship is beautifully understated and very  comfortable!  Staff extremely friendly and always available.  Getting additional reservations before 8 in the specialty restaurants was difficult and the menu in the dining room on several evenings was not very appealing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Presentation of food was beautiful; unfortunately the food came out only warm in most cases...except in the buffet where it was cooked to order. Quality of steaks was inferior.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Ship's staff extertainment was enjoyable; considering the size of the ship the entertainment was good

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Zhana at the reception desk was always available to assist with a smile. David Peterson, cruise director was excellent

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was kept clean with fresh towels and ice regularly. Steward Min was very accommodating.Location was actually excellent because we never felt much motion even during the few rough nights. The lighting in and near the closet is blocked when the closet door is opened, making it difficult to see inside the closet. Shower curtain much too short!

Ship tip

The area where smoking is allowed is much too close to the Spa and smoke was emanating in the corridors around it. Some tours need Whisper System so guides can be heard. Do not use the beauty salon. 70 lbs for a wash & blow dry and an extra 24 to use flat iron or curling iron...Poor job!
