Review summary

We have been on many Oceania cruises. This was one of the best.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food and service in all the dining venues were excellent.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Activities such as trivia, art scavenger hunt, golf putting and other games for Big O points were fun and helped us bond with our fellow cruisers.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The ship's Cruise Director and cast were excellent and friendly. The shows were well done. The outside entertainment who were brought on at various ports for several days were all high quality with different talents from classical piano, to comedy, to singing etc.

Children's Programs

No children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We had a great Butler who provided wonderful service and conversation. The waiters, sommeliers and Maitre D'Souza were all very friendly and helpful. Our room steward was very helpful and efficient.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This small ship was very comfortable and shipshape. We found no maintenance problems.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
There was plenty of room. Since I was celebrating a birthday and since we were traveling with friends, we had several get togethers in the suite including a small cocktail party (10 people)and a dinner for 4 from Toscana. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great and we had plenty of storage space.

Ship tip

Prepare to have a good time and be flexible if an excursion runs a little long or the tender boat is slow to arrive or too hot. Sometimes problems turn out to be the makings of happy memories.
