Review summary

It was a very nice cruise, on a magnificent ship. The excursions we chose were perfect for us (mainly historical and cultural visits). We ate very well in our evening restaurant, and also at the buffet. I will keep very fond memories of this trip.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The onboard restaurants are very good. The quantities of the dishes are well proportioned. The waiters, who spoke our language (french), were really nice to us.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We didn't try most of the activities offered on the ship. All we can say is that there is only one large pool for the whole ship.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The waiters in our restaurant were lovely, they spoke French to us. Our cabin steward also spoke French, and was extremely polite and pleasant with us. The staff is a strong point of this company.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is new, it is very clean and modern. The cabins are cleaned twice a day. The common areas are beautiful, and the World Promenade deck is very beautiful and unique.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
We took a cabin with a balcony on deck 15. Very nice cabin, with a modern and simple decoration. We have two comments, however: - night and day, we heard the buffet chairs on deck 18. - Air conditioning, when turned off, was leaking.

Ship tip

- Choose a cabin on a central deck, so as not to hear the sounds of chairs all day and night. - There is very little space in the bars, you have to come early to get a seat. - Do not miss the gala evening, the cocktails are free.

Ports of call

Messina, Sicily

We chose the excursion to Taormina. Beautiful village, I highly recommend this excursion. We ended up visiting Messina and its beautiful church.

Valletta, Malta

This was our favorite excursion. We recommend the excursion to Rabat, Mdina and Mosta. Very beautiful, magnificent villages and the locals are pleasant.

Marseille (Provence), France

5 out of 5
Our port of embarkation and disembarkation. The wharf is not known to Google Maps unfortunately.

Genoa, Italy

5 out of 5
The port is close to the city. You have to take the city bus to get to the main attractions (be careful, you have to download an application for bus tickets).

Naples, Italy

5 out of 5
We did not have time to visit the city of Naples. We took an excursion to Pompei, with a very nice and funny guide.

Barcelona, Spain

5 out of 5
The port is located ten minutes by bus from the city. We did not choose an excursion here. We took the Tour Buses around town.

Can you please tell me in addition to gala night did they do white night and "flower" night? Sailing in a couple of weeks and this is their typical, have multiple 1st time cruisers looking to participate in all things. Thank you for your review.
