Unforgetable by Rossana15169830

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Sinfonia / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

We as a family, we loved the cruise almost everything was perfect, the only thing was a little bit disorganized was the teenager club. My daughter has 12 years old, and there were so many kids from her same age, that they were all spread out and a little bit bored.

The best and most relaxing week I've had by JosephineC

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Sinfonia / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

I might as well be honest here. Upon first seeing the ship, I was rather disappointed. Previously, I had sailed Royal Caribbean and everyone who has sailed with them knows the showiness of their line. However, the Sinfonia is simply elegant. While slightly understated, it's easy to find yourself marveling at the beauty of the ship. There truly is only one con about the ship: it's hard to navigate. 4 banks of elevators all go to different floors, so it's easy to get on the wrong one and end up getting lost. There's no way to lie either: MSC embodies their "Beautiful, Passionate, Italian" tagline. Never before have I seen such a beautiful crew....

small ship, crowded, noisy & too many cigarettes by frenchies

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Sinfonia

Despite our grumbles, we enjoyed the cruise & loved the rear outdoor decks of the ship. The mdr food was excellent & the bar & restaurant staff were lovely. The buffet was a bloodbath. Our ship was 100% full & we felt there were way too many passengers for the size of the ship. We didn't like the bus aspect of the cruise (new passengers at every port of call + daily muster drills). This has made us more weary of cruising & we will avoid the Mediterranean in holiday season. Our cruise was "educational" and has helped us shape what we want.

Cruising with MSC was a HUGE failure!! by Shakir

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Sinfonia

Through all our bad experiences prior and while on board, MSC seems to care about is the money they were making and not their guests satisfaction or happiness. We were deceived twice in this trip just to get our money and it wasn’t professional at all. The proposed solutions where all directed at us having to compromise with no resolution from the staff on board. It is as if the customer has an issue. MSC will keep talking over it till you stop complaining and the solution is at the customer expense only.

Last Minute Changes But No Real Problems by neiltravels2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Sinfonia

This was a large group cruise but had wanted to take this itinery for some time. High tides & bad weather meant last minute changes to itinery (no Split & departed/arrived in Trieste not Venice). Some magical ports of call and the ship, although the smallest of the MSC classes, was a perfect fit for this cruise. Great interaction between the crew & passengers too. All in all a fantastic week!
