This was the largest ship we have been on and would not do it again. Prefer the older Royal Caribbean ships or Holland America. The venues on this MSC cruise just did not do it for us.

Embarkation started 2 hours late due to late arrival of ship, this created a long line and wait time. Only preference was for Yacht Club.

The dining room on deck 6 was not inspiring. We had a table on the port side which is under the bowling alley and is really noisy from the bowling balls. Food at dinner was average, had to ask for paper menus as MSC wants to do everything via phone apps
Breakfast in 5th floor restaurant each morning offered better experience but still had to ask for paper menus.
Had lunch in the Butchers Cut, was really good service and steaks, $147.00 for 2 of us.
Onboard Activities

Casino is very small and did not like any of the slot machines,

Had to make reservations via the MSC app to be able to to shows, did 3 shows per evening but could only reserve one. No drinks or beverages allowed in theater. Showed movies at 1:30 in the afternoon,

Everyone we encountered was friendly, so of MSC procedures need to be changed so customer service issues can be eliminated such as having drink packages active when you get your cruise card so you don't have to stand in line to activate it and than go to customer service to get drinks removed that you were charged for

Be very savey with your phone use as you will be expected to download lots of information from web, be sure to have Internet package, Don't reply on the My MSC app
Spent 2 days in Nassau because our trip to private island was cancelled do to weather. This resulted in mega ships in port at one time and created a very crowded pier experience.
Sailing away in the Yacht Club seems to be the way to go. I am thinking of going as a Yacht club passenger next time I sail with an MSC ship. These reviews are following a pattern. Although people keep sailing on MSC cruise ships and not in the Yacht club.
