Review summary

Sorry to say, this time MSC struck out! Let’s start with the “Easy Drink Package”! Totally misrepresented. We were told by Corporate sales that frozen drinks as long as they were not premium alcohol used were part of package. Wrong! Limited mixed drinks only. So we had to upgrade to Premium Packages ($435.total extra). Then we were told anything up to 12.00. All except Venchi Chocolate Bar! $6.00 coffee not included at Venchi due to the use of fancy espresso beans imported from France! (I’ve seen them in TJ Max for $10.00!) Bar manager Kenneth called Corporate sales Morons and didn’t know what they are talking about! They tell customers all the wrong information and the Ships crew suffers. Very Rude to us showing no concern! Next Dining package... Very limited choice to choose from. Also Teppanyaki is not included in trio . Different than we were told! Try and find a drink waiter at the pool.... forget it! Not going to happen! They make you walk to bars and wait till they are ready to serve you! Food was good, but buffet limited. Shows were nice but seemed too much alike. This Cruise left a sour taste for MSC! They better start coordinating better with Corporate and Ship and work together! Lots of Promises and lots of Lies!

A complete disaster as far as the packages are concerned. I wasn’t given correct info on “drinks on us” until 3 visits to reception 3 days into cruise and a bill for no alcohol cocktails. The bar staff were not informed on this deal some drinks we got for free ( hot chocolate ) and at other times billed for the same drinks. Complete chaos. We were also told that we had to pay for ice cream in the restaurants. I have 3 grand children with me again billed for some not for others.

Good food, good shows, rooms ok, but bathroom and closet space small. Ship Management rude, Crew has no knowledge of packages and what they provide!

How was the cruise and ports otherwise? We don’t drink, so the drink package and prices aren’t a concern for us, but would like to know about the rooms, shows, food, etc.
