Review summary

This was a special cruise with my wife and my 3 Adult daughters. We are all getting older so I wanted us to have this cruise together to be together as the original 5 of our now very large family. We very much enjoyed our cruise on the MSC Seashore

Embarkation

5 out of 5
This embarkation was incredibly fast. We parked in the parking building across the street from Cruise terminal 10 where the Seashore was docked. We easily rolled our luggage across the road to the YACHT CLUB Check in tent. Everything after that was handled quickly and efficiently. We were escorted thru the checkin process and we were onboard the ship and setting in the Yacht Club Top Sail lounge within about 40 minutes. Very Pleased

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We were in the Yacht Club and had all of our meals in the Yacht Club Restaurant. The Food was exceptional and so was the service. Very pleased 😊

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We spent a lot of time at the Yacht Club private pool. It was a great pool and next to the pool was a bar and grill where we were provided with All the Food and Drink we wanted. My wife and daughters utilized the Yacht Club benefit of free access to the Thermal Spa; they enjoyed this greatly

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We enjoyed 2 Production shows during our 4 night cruise in the Main theater, 90s Divas and Rock Legends. We thought the singers and dancers were quite talented and we loved the shows. We enjoyed also relaxing in the Top Sail Lounge and listening to the piano playing there.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We were in the Yacht Club so we had a Butler, Combie. Combie did everything he could to make our stay on the Seashore worry free and enjoyable . Along with Combie all personnel that we encountered were extremely helpful and tried their best to make us happy

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The MSC SEASHORE is a big and beautiful Ship. The ship is only 3 years old so all things are new and with modern design. The ship overall is kept clean by the staff and overall in good working order. There are, however, a few things that were not quite β€œadequate” in our opinion and need to be mentioned: 1. Some of the Common Areas restrooms had strongly bad odors our entire time onboard to the point that they were unusable 2. Overall the temperature inside the ship was not quite as cool as us Big Americans prefer πŸ˜•β€¦β€¦ a little bit too warm

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This room accommodated the 5 of us comfortably. Good size room with an adequate sized bathroom. We had a larger than normal balcony also which we enjoyed. Our room was kept clean and maintained by our junior Butler

Ship tip

The Yacht Club Experience is exceptional. Everything about it is just what we liked. This was my 8th cruise overall and my first on MSC.If you can swing the added expense I fully recommend the Yacht Club

Ports of call

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Ocean Cay is the beautiful MSC private Island. It consists of several beaches, shopping, restaurants and the special Lighthouse along with other things. We enjoyed the Yacht Club private beach along with lunch in the Ocean House. The Seashore did an overnight stay there and had a late night beach party there along with the Light Show at the Lighthouse. My family and I loved Ocean Cay

Disembarkation

We were escorted off the ship by our Butler. It was incredible. We were escorted from the Yacht Club Top Sail Lounge to the security checkpoint and got off the ship in about 15 minutes. πŸ‘πŸ˜Š We got thru baggage claim and customs and were in our car within the next 30 minutes
