New ship with Good shows, food, Aqua Park and water slides.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
The embarkation experience was horrible, there was a digital sign telling people to park their car in a parking garage that was really far from the MSC Seashore cruise terminal, this didn’t make sense since there was a parking garage right next to the cruise and another one across the street. The check in took almost two hours, No social distance, No MSC Voyager Club lines, only Yacht club line, Aurea line and another line for everyone else.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Central Park Restaurant. Good food and service. Breakfast included eggs Benedict, omelettes, French toast, Belgian waffles, coffee, juices, etc. Dinner main entrees included that I liked on different nights: the NY Strip Steak included one night, the Ossobuco Veal was good, the salmon was great.
Madison Theatre
4 out of 5
My favorite shows in order: 1) Paris!, 2) That’s Amore!, 3) Gravity. We did not understand Mystic Forest, it’s a lot of different acts and costumes that were put together and there is no story. The show Coast to Coast was canceled and replaced by a Trailblazers show. We did not like the Trailblazers show, it shows men fighting with women several times.
Marketplace Buffet
4 out of 5
The buffet area was clean, there is a big modern sink to wash hands at the entrance to the buffet, hand sanitizer and tables followed social distance.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Waiters and room stewards service were great, except for the pool attendant not available to exchange towels when we needed them, this area didn’t have hours listed.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
This is a new ship, all the indoor common areas are clean and well maintained, but there are some outdoor areas: sports deck, and the pools deck floor and chairs that were dirty with something that looks like tar balls or ashes that got our clothes and towels dirty.
Ship tip
Dinner @ 6pm in the Central Park Restaurant, Madison Theater Shows @ 9pm, then go to see Le Cabaret Rouge shows.
