It's a miracle that we didn't gain more weight. The food was delicious. At the buffets there ware always fresh and different foods. The lunch and dinner at the main dining room where exquisite..

We were used to super friendly and social waiters, unfortunately this time they weren't that great. They did what they had to and that was it. The room stuward was great and also some waiters at the bar where special.

Do to bad weather we couldn't port in Stockholm. We got off the ship by tender and then an one hour bus to the city center.

How was the dress code for the dining ? Is it really required to wear a formal gown and tuxedo? Or can you wear a suit, dress pants and shirt with tie or khaki pants with a polo for men? Women and girls a dress such as for church or cocktail. Dress?

Thank you for your review. There is so much negativaty about msc, mostely -it seems- because people are not prepared or have to high expectations. We are going with the Preziosa to Saint Petersburg next week. Looking forward to it!

I went on this boat a couple of years ago. Shocking reviews so I was nervous. Beautiful ship, lovely food, nice captains cocktails for return clientele... had a ball
