Review summary

The ship was clean and the cleaning staff were great at keeping things in shape. Restaurant staff were very good. Concierge staff(mostly european.italian) were not so pleasant. Another major issue was the length of the cruise. A 7 days cruise - Not quite. Left Ft. Lauderdale 5 hours late and got back into Ft Lauderdale 7 hours early and sat overnight at the dock on the last night. so the cruise in fact was really only 6.5 days.

Ship experiences

3 out of 5
Food was mostly European/Italian which was good, but the quality was not the best.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Entertainment and activities were not up to much.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Indonesian staff that serviced restaurants and cleaned rooms, were very pleasant and friendly, but other more senior staff were not so friendly.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Cleaning staff kept all part of the ship visited very clean. There were always staff cleaning up and wiping down areas.

5 out of 5
Rooms were good and clean.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
The best port of the trip IMO. Shopping and then spending the day at Chankanaab swimming and snorkeling
Don't Miss: Snorkeling. What's beneath the water is amazing.

Key West, Florida

5 out of 5
Great place to visit and spend the day.
Don't Miss: Hemingway House

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Loved Grant Cayman, spend the day shopping, eating and them laying on the beach getting some sun.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

1 out of 5
Not the best place to visit. Locals where very pushy. Dunns Falls was not that great. The natural aspect of it has been lost due to concrete reinforcements and the hundreds of tourist climbing all over it.

Pros: Wait staff, cleaning staff

Cons: Ship Crew and very rude Euporean Passengers

Recommends MSC Poesia? No.
