Review Summary

Great time. Ship was kept impecably clean, Marco Phillipe Theater shows were 1st quality. Dinners at Le Fontane were exceptional, so well prepared, service was more than excellent! Great ports w/ the exception of Puerto Limon - not the best city to discover, but excursions were great - could have been a little more affordable. Food at top floor could have offerd a few moew healthy choices. Only one day did they have yummy arugula salad! Very, very accomodating. Had a great time except for the way they handled my lost Fla driver's license. Poor follow up! Never able to retrieve or have hope to retieve.

Ship Experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Super choices - only think they could have offered Naples as a highlight of food offering. Great, top of the line service-we thoroughly enjoyed "Sudarma's" attentiveness to detail. Very convenient dining times. Only could have improved on top floor choices - more salads needed. Otherwise great tasting.

Super variety, incredible talent - "knife-thrower" should stick to his lasso's - he was more talented in that area than knive show - could also be asked to keep a tidier beard on all days not some. Otherwise fabulous choreography, immensely talented gymnists, dancers and incredible singing-need to kick-up the volume of the tenor - not strong enough to carry his own w/o help from acoustics - but very talented. Mimma and and Rosita were incredibly gifted shows of talent. I couldn't believe how many scenes Mimma was able to pull off as lead. She did a great job!!! Please give her a raise! Variety shows in Zebra were OK, nothing to wriye home about. Get rid of that head MC (tall, dark) - he was not genuine! "Christian" did a far better job of effort to please , cordial, warm, genuine and really put his whole self into keeping the momentum going! Great singing guitar player. Very talented.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Some of staff could have been more friendly - but overall the best of the best for willingness to help, and service timliness. Our main dinner waiter was the best ever - "Sudarma" gave the most quality of service above and beyond any call of duty!

Cabin / Stateroom

Kept immpecably clean, well attended. Very comforable. Would only request better, more pillows. "obstructed view was totally obstructed and unfair to charge so much for unworthy upgrade.

Ports Of Call

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

City was not very good to help guests be accomodated for bank transactions. Not such great hospitality. Tour guide was above average. Could have been more interedting spots to see.
Don't Miss: banana plantation

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Shaw Park Gardens - don't listen to any tour guide who offers "Coyaba" instead.
Don't Miss: Shaw Park Gardens. Dunns River Falls

Cartagena, Colombia

Emerald factory tour could be offered - mcould be more informative. Great old town spots. Sorry to see so high a charge for the Cerro la Popa - should have been more open and friendly for us tourists to be able to see entire site. Incredible panoramic views there!
Don't Miss: El Cerro de la Popa

Cristobal, Panama

All the canal gates! The city was incredibly large. Would have liked to dwell more on "old Panama" - very interesting!
Don't Miss: The Canal, of course!

Pros: Everything was great! Dinner service from"Sudarma" was most enjoyable; shows were of incredible talent and spectacular choreography!

Cons: That phony Zebra lounge MC - he was so un-genuine! Need to replace him w/ "Christian" who was very cordial!

Recommends MSC Poesia? Yes!
