Review summary

We embarked on our first ever cruise with a group of 10 friends to see if it was for us. Overall I think we can say we enjoyed it but not totally hooked as many people seem to be. The five nights we feel was about right and enjoyed getting off looking at the different destinations which in my opinion is what appealed to me the most about cruising. Would I cruise again? Yes, I think we would but would prefer to sail from the UK in warmer times although this would no doubt mean a longer cruise.

Ship Quality

Seem to have issues with toilets on three of the five days as they wouldn't flush. We were informed that this was a technical issue that some were compensated for with champagne. Unfortunately, not us! Also the Casino seemed to be somewhere for people to smoke indoors. Not a nice environment to have a flutter in if that's your thing.

Ports of call

Genoa, Italy

Not a lot to do or see here, just a destination to sail from.

Naples, Italy

Would be a lot nicer if the weather was good, very impressive churches.

Corfu, Greece

Kotor, Montenegro

Beautiful place to sail into but you need longer as we were only there for 4 hours.

Venice, Italy

Comfortably the best place of the cruise, Venice is absolutely beautiful and I would re-visit anytime. Need a few quid though as it's very expensive. Top tips: Leave the gondolas, they are incredibly expensive and not worth the 120 euros we paid for 20 minutes. If your leaving by air from Venice, get a private speed boat to the airport, well worth the additional cost.
