Review summary

Definitely worth the price. Did not appreciate being reprimanded by front desk staff member for not reading the Voyagers Club contract in its entirety while I was trying to resolve an issue that had lingered unresolved since March. I was already frustrated that no one from Voyagers Club responded to my correspondence in the prior 7+ months and every time I reached out to Customer Service received the same answer " nothing they can do - need to email Voyagers Club". I cannot comprehend that your Loyalty Department has no supervision or alternate source of contact.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Got to terminal at scheduled time and walked right through process with minimal wait

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We dined at the Waves and enjoyed the service and choice of meals - some items could have been hotter when served. The dining room staff was attentive and friendly. The buffet was hectic, staff always seemed hurried. Food occasionally over cooked or dry and ran out of items on more than one occasion.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pool and spa

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We attended all the evening shows and enjoyed them all

Children's Programs

Yes no children

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Cudos to our room steward Ralf, Waves waiter Vincente and Ocean Cay waitress Sara - all were more than attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. Other individuals - some bartenders, buffet staff and front desk personnel were a bit less noteworthy.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
yes

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Ralf did a wonderful job - always clean and tidy, ice bucket always full. Would have preferred a larger bathroom.

Ship tip

Be patient with staff as many have difficulty comprehending English.

Ports of call

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

5 out of 5
The island was well laid out. We rented a Cabana for the day (28) which was smaller than other locations we visited but adequate for the 6 of us. They appear to be in need of refreshing - maybe adding fans and possible access for music etc. A solid internet connection would be beneficial as well. Our server Sarah was fabulous. Don't understand why we couldn't decorate for the birthday boy nor understand why they couldn't supply a cake or something special for the occasion?

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
No issues here

Yes, the customer service on land can be long waits and difficult. I always ask for a supervisor. It doesn't always happen, as i have been just put on hold for 10 min ending w a disconnect click. But repeated calling did finally get me a supervisor who Did Knowledgeably resolve my problem.

About the Voyagers Club, there is no way of contact other than email, I learned that you have to send several emails a day and over consecutive days until someone decides to look into it and feel like working.
