Review summary

When I booked this cruise via America airlines cruise, I did not realize it was cost me $1265 more than it would had I booked it directly with the cruise line. This was our first time using a third party and certainly is our last!

Main dining room was excellent. Buffet was pretty good. Didn’t do a specialty restaurant this sail.

The parties a lot of fun. Wish they all lasted more than 45 minutes.

The late night DJ didn’t really know how to grab the attention of his audience. This was the same on this ship August of 2023 as well. MSC seascape DJ is a way better DJ.

With the exception of a handful of staff, majority of the service staff were not very friendly and they seem more exhausted than enthusiastic. This is a total 180 degree between August 2023 and August 2024.

Ship Quality

The design is simple and uncomplicated. The symmetrical layout makes it easy to navigate and the staff does a great job of keeping it clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Last year we stayed in cabin 11222 so we knew what to expect. The house attendant was wonderful at making up our room and he was the most warm and welcoming person we met on this cruise.
