Review summary

Cruising is the best most affordable way to see Bermuda! This is my second time cruising there and I can still think of more things that I have missed there, and I’ve done different things both times.

Embarkation

From ride drop off to on this ship only took about 20 minutes! MSC very much listens to the complaints and works to improve them! By far the best embarkation on this ship from NYC

Champagne Bar

This is one of my favorite features on MSC. I still love the blueberry lavender sparklers! However, the service was lacking. I think I have been spoiled by my last few waiters at the Champagne bar. They would reserve our tables and have drinks waiting before I even sat down! This time they seemed short staffed, the waiters didn’t even come out fromBehind the bar.

Kaito Sushi Bar

Just ok. My mother had chicken teriyaki and hers was very good. The mini lobster appetizers were delicious. The sushi was good but much of it was too fancy and things I don’t eat (octopus, eel, shrimp)

Waves Restaurant

Our waiter was Menasha. He was sweet. Very kind and quiet. When I handed him his tip on the last day he looked like he was going to cry.

Had a great all you can eat lunch! If I go again I would just try some of all the tacos. I got the burrito it was fine but not my favorite burrito in the world! Margaritas 👍🏻👍🏻

A great meal!! I was very full after leaving! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and wants you to linger and enjoy your time. Get the banana date cake you won’t be disappointed!

I ended being up total about 45$ which is great! However the casino was only open 9p-5a since we were docked in Bermuda and it was always packed!!! That’s ok I saved some money!

Finally saw a show here. We saw Circus Rock for just 5$ additional with our specialty dining package, the show was really good and the specialty cocktail was even better!

Service and Staff

Over all service was good but not “over the top” I have had better service and I have had worse. A cruise is better than work! Our room Attendant was amazing his name was Edi. Only second time in my life I have had someone told my pajamas! A waitress in the Sky Lounge from Kenya was also great, I didn’t catch her name, but tell her the Baileys Alexander duo say hello! Our waiter Menasha was efficient and sweet. Also Dejan from future cruise was excellent! He was informative and did not pressure at all to book. But to book from him!

It was an “obstructed view balcony” the view was fine. 2 things to know about this room: 1. It is a bathtub room so your bathroom is much larger, however if you will have trouble getting in and out of a bathtub on a moving vessel this is not the room for you. Also, if you are a light sleeper also not ideal. It’s right under the buffet and you hear chairs and carts rolling pretty much non stop until 11pm

Ship tip

Pack you patience! The crew is there to cater to you, but your fellow passengers, not so much.

Great review!! Glad you enjoyed Bermuda & all the wonderful things to do while there. Not enough time for everything this time around? Next time for sure!! Agree, sadly fellow passengers seem to forget where they are & how to respect the space. Simple courtesy goes a long way 😣… Thanks for sharing!! Happy cruising 🤩⚓️😎❣️‼️
