Main dining and buffet were very good. The specialty restaurants were not up to the level of a Royal Carribean.

Lot's to do and a lot of fun

Ports of call

Brooklyn, New York

Nice facility. Long wait to get on the ship. Thankfully, most of it inside.

I was on this ship with you. Our car service dropped us off at 10:30, or scheduled time and we were at the buffet at 11:20. The first day lines at guest services were long, but only day one. Sorry you didn’t know about all the free entertainment.

You seem to give most things a great rating so not sure what makes you say you wouldn’t sail with them again? Also I’m sure there were free shows when we sailed with MSC in 2019 have they changed that?

I would recommend to the OP that they try a different port and smaller ship. NYC embarkation at Brooklyn Port is packed no matter what ship. It's a port problem. And that ship is huge compared to the older MSC ships that have a more family feel.

Only 2 shows are at a charge, the others are free. What was it that you wouldn't cruise again? Cruise itself seemed fine. By your review

Sail date and review date are the same.

Must be a first timer. We NEVER wait in the assigned area, head for the buffet and graze until our time is past and then we head out. Works if you don’t schedule your flight too soon.
