If you are getting a great great great deal, then go ahead and book if you just need to get away somewhere anywhere. Otherwise, I would not recommend you pay a lot of good money for this ship, seek out another cruise line.
Embarkation

Not too bad. Just waiting in line.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
The quality and taste of the food was disgusting. They serve chicken hot dogs! Like seriously! The burgers were barely edible. The had mush for Texas-style pulled pork, bacon would just be sitting in grease, wet and runny corn beef hash....I could do a whole blog on how terrible the MDR and buffet was. The downgraded quality and consistency of food from the Seashore to this ship was terrible and they should be ashamed.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
There is nothing exciting to do on this ship. If you love bingo, karaoke and/or being in the pool/hot tub all day then you will have a blast.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
The local high school puts on better stage productions than what they provided. It got to the point where I just walked out of some and stopped going altogether. The comedians aren't funny either.
Children's Programs
No kids with us.
Service and Staff

The steward was nice of course, but he just didn't clean very well and so multiple times we were complaining about the cleanliness and smell of the stateroom on Embarkation day and several days after. So glad, we brought clorox wipes. The bartender across the ship need retraining. There is no way I should not be able to get at least a half decent mojito or manhattan. Also, for some reason you could get a glass of Malbec at one bar but not at any other. Reception staff was just plain rude to everyone. There was one particular Russian lady that everyone who encountered her, just had a bad experience with. She was not personable nor did she care what your concern was. You would explain and she would just say 'no' and brush you off/push you along, which meant you were in the reception line for a very long time.
Ship Quality

The ship is beautiful. Frankly, what ship isn't, but they need something more appealing.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room is on the Starboard Forward side and was spacious enough. The balcony was a bit tight. The closet doors are a bit off track. The couch needs upholstering cleaning. The bathroom shower vent above needs rust cleaning removal or something. The room steward was nice and did seem to certainly try to clean as well as he could.
I agree as far as sailing MSC again, only if I get a great deal. I found the ship boring also. And a cruise shouldn't be what you make of it, it should be made a great cruise by the cruise line and you tailor it to your likes. This review is so much worse than the one I gave for Seaside. 😲
Do not know what to make of this review, because a cruise, like any other vacation is what you make of it. Sounds as if this individual was not looking for a good time.
