Review summary

Fourth MSC Cruise. Beautiful ship Food got worse Staff was excellent Entertainment hit or miss I'm probably gonna do land vacations for awhile though. There's a bunch of work to do to get the cruise industry back on pace. Not complaining just observation.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
I was onboard in 20 minutes, because my friend was in a wheelchair and I assisted. The rest of the traveling group was on in an hour. Pretty smooth, but obviously not enough staff.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The food has gotten worse. I don't expect high end, but edible is nice as well One night in the buffet the pizza was mostly cooked dough, ketchup and half cooked bacon? It was pretty funny after awhile. I'm sure this is occurring on other lines as well though. Industry is ruff currently

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty to do, I usually just lounge at the pool. I got a massage and it was great. Did the thermal suite after, it was a nice addition to the massage, but I don't think I would pay for it extra.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Pretty bad, minus the musicians in the bars.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone I encountered this cruise was remarkable

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Odd layout. No elevators aft passed mid ship made for a lot of extra walking. Because of this as well, the elevators do take a long time. It's gorgeous otherwise

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Basic balcony cabin
