Review summary

This was my first cruise and I absolutely loved it. My only suggestion-. I needed to find medicine for my husband who's tooth was hurting. Your shippong center only had medicine in Italian. The attendant did not know Italian and I had to google all of the labels to see what it was. Maybe dangerous if someone interprets the medication incorrectly. I also can't deny that the passing of the passenger who fell off the boat has traumatized me a little. Since I got back I keep thinking about her and how she may have fallen off. I was not able to sleep right the first couple of days. Was the boat safe? What happened?

The ship is and was safe. The passenger jumped from the 18th deck balcony from her cabin. You cannot "fall" over the side of the ship. Going over is due to one's own negligence or created by another. The railings are much too high for it to be accidental. I'm happy your overall cruise was good.

Welcome to the wonderful world of cruising. Sorry you had someone go overboard. Please know that usually one only goes overboard if they are doing something stupid (like climb on the railing) or have “help”. Glad you enjoyed your cruise in spite of this.
