this was a great experience, and our first trip on MSC cruiseline. we would definitely sail with them again. we loved the beautiful ship, wonderful food choices and very clean and comfortable cabin. the private island was an excellent place to relax and swim. the staff were all very patient, attentive and good at their jobs, and made us feel welcome.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
some of the staff were confused by some of the documentation they were encountering, but it seemed like they had trainers nearby to help so it didn't slow down check in
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
the buffet was great, and we enjoyed having so many selections to choose from, as well as the choices for non-alcoholic beverages
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
the pools were clean and usually not super crowded, although the hot tubs were almost always in use- there were unsupervised children with toys (under age 12) in one hot tub, which drove us away
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
servers, waiters and room stewards were very friendly and attentive, and did an excellent job keeping everything clean and well maintained
Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

bella cabin deck 9 with a balcony was a spacious room with a great view, and very comfy bed- the bathroom was spotless and very well kept
Ship tip
if you buy an internet package, don't be surprised if you need to change several unexpected settings on your phone to allow it to work; even then, it doesn't always work
stayed the night before at cocoa beach, which made the process of parking our car for the cruise less stressful, and a shuttle took us to and from the port
nassau seemed improved since the last time we were there- nice shops and some cute hole in the wall bars, as well as shopping at the straw market within walking distance of the ship
this island was beautiful, and the perfect place to sit and relax and swim. pavilions, food shacks, and bathrooms were well maintained, and we loved being able to go on and off the ship with a minimum of fuss. there were shuttles as well to go to and from the beaches.
a little confusion on when we were supposed to be at our designated walk off area, as ship paperwork said 9am, but at 8am the steward said we should be out already, otherwise it went smoothly
