Overall great cruise. We'd been to most of the ports several times before. So we tried some new things and had lots of fun. We will be booking MSC again. Great value for the money.
Embarkation

Embarkation was a nightmare, but it wasn't MSC fault. 10 people decided to try and stow away. They had to send swat and sheriff's in there looking. Couldn't even get out of the shuttle bus until they found them. We checked in 4 hours after our check in time. But once we were in the check in process it was fast and efficient.

The food was really good. I had about 2 things I didn't like, but that was just me trying new things. Don't listen to the bad food reviews. Give it a try for yourself.

Entertainment staff was phenomenal. Best singers in a cruise yet. And don't skip the pay shows. The carousel production shows were fantastic. Best singers on the ship

Cabin / Stateroom

We had an aft deluxe balcony cabin. Cabin size itself was good, balcony size was good. The storage was really lacking. If you're going to have 3 people, you'll be leaving things in suitcases. No closet space, and the bathroom was tiny. Boyfriend is 6'6 and barely fit in the shower. Bed was hard as a rock.
Ship tip
Try it. We really enjoyed ourselves. Been on 8 carnival cruises and this was better by far. Entertainment was great. Food was great. Desserts were to die for. Lots of daily activities.
The island was beautiful. Water crystal clear good snorkeling. Saw some sting rays. Buffet lunch was good and some good bars and shops. Don't miss the lighthouse shows, they're great.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise. I did several cruises with MSC and I totally agree with you. Our cruise with Meraviglia was 13 days and we had to leave some clothes in our suitcases for the first couple of days because the closet space is really limited.
