We (3 couples) have cruised every year (sometimes twice each year) on Royal Caribbean, Princess, Holland America, Carnival and Norwegian. We will NEVER cruise on MSC again. Sad, because it is a beautiful ship.
None of these remarks are the fault of or Emily Curry. She is wonderful and we would definitely use again.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Breakfast great. Lunch Great. Dinners fair. Had 4 excellent dinners. The other 6 were poor to fair. We have always had Lobster/Filet on every other cruise (over 20) at no additional charge.
Onboard Activities

Trivia good. Unable to attend the 9:30 PM events in the Meraviglia Lounge after the shows because there were never enough seats.
Entertainment

Singers and dancers were very good.
Children's Programs
Not travelling with children.
Service and Staff

Wait staff was excellent. Especially Heinrich, the Head Waiter. He solved all our problems for us regarding being charged for drinks that were included in our Easy Package, among other issues. Akshay and Marie were also wonderful. Excursion employees have no idea what they are doing. We (6 guests) were "assigned" a 7:45 AM tour in Quebec. When I asked to move it to a later time, the 1st woman I spoke with told me that was not possible since all tours were sold out. That was a lie. The next day I spoke with a different young woman (Tenelife Guacimata?) and she had NO PROBLEM giving us a choice of 2 tours. We booked the 11:30 AM tour and cancelled the 7:45 AM. She was delightful and very pleasant!! Receiving different answers to questions from different personnel was consistent throughout the cruise. We finally gave up and didn't believe anything anyone told us. Sad.
Ship Quality

Ship is beautiful. However, sadly lacking in places for guests to sit quietly and read a book. Very noisy ship. Acoustics terrible making it difficult to have a conversation. Definitely not enough lounges / chairs / seating areas . Perhaps in the summer months this would be satisfactory if guests are at the pool, but not all cruises sail in warm months or to warm destinations.
Cabin / Stateroom

Closet smallest on any ship we've ever been on. No shelves, and only one drawer, on the desk. No drawers in night stands.
Cleanliness good.
Quebec City was the entire reason we booked this cruise, and then the ship cancelled the 2nd day for a number of different reasons, depending on who you spoke with. Disaster on that issue. The City is beautiful, tour was nice except for the fact that we had to listen to the tour guide speak multiple languages. There should have been a bus for the Italian speaking guests, one for the English speaking guests, and so on.
