This was our 7th cruise, and 5th with MSC. This was the best MSC ship we were on! We loved the Meraviglia!
All aspects of the ship we loved (only the beds were a little hard).
Especially on rainy days this ship has a lot to offer...we will be back on this ship or her sisters!

Although the ship docked at the other side of Kiel, embarkation was fast. We were the first 100 on deck.

We had the premium drink package. And we loved the Anchor Brass Pub. We loved all the special beers.
We also had tryptic diner. Wich allows us to eat in three specialty restaurants which was great!

MSC is not the most expensive cruise line. You get what you pay for. And service is just all right. Not more....maybe for Americans this is new...in Europe non service is the norm....

The inside cabin was small, but big enough. We are a family of three. With four it would felt cramped I think.
Bathroom was okay. Bed was hard...this was the first time ever on a cruise that my bed was a little too hard..
Ship tip
Do not expect great service....this is an Italian cruise line....in Europe good service is not normal...
Expect a fenomenal ship. Clean, very very big. Sometimes crowded, but never too crowded. Expect great pools, and great waterslides.
Good specialty restaurants, and okay complimentary restaurants. Good food.
Great kids club, okay entertainment.....expect to pay for extras....
Expect to pay for all shuttle busses to the shore....this we find very irritating...taxis were cheaper...
We were in the Maritim Hotel....with views on the water....the hotel was not cheap....and I guess the hotel was very chique in the 70s...but now it is very worn out....
Kiel is only beautiful near the water...
We were one of the first off the ship...but our bags were not ready...we had to wait a long time...even when we saw our suitcases standing in line...we had to wait....but disembarkation was a breeze
