12 Days sounded like a good idea when we booked. Truth is it was a little too long. Decent ship with strong ports of call. The cost was reasonable but the balcony room we had was very small and the shower with beyond tiny. The entertainment sucked on the deck as well as the theater. I dont think they had a cruise director. They did have a couple people that spoke via mic to the hand full of people willing to play their cheap kiddie games, so I assume one of them might have been the director. The deck music was on a loop so the 20th time we heard the same crappy music was really enough.

Food and Dining

Restaurents ware small and the menu's quite limited. You could find what to eat but it wasn't memorable. Also, they made you buy a drink package if you wanted something other than water or coffee anywhere on the ship.
Onboard Activities

Filp a flip flop in to a bucked and Rock Paper Sisors were examples of on deck entertainment.
Entertainment

Stage show's were terrible. We expected so much more given the high level we experienced on Divina in the USA
Service and Staff

On 2 of the 3 sead days, the pools were 20 to 21 degrees. Unuseables. This forced the kids to head for the hot tubs. The pool staff seemed incapable of controling this situation as many so called parents used the hot tubs as day care. I was actually profiled and discriminated against by one of the pool deck officers as being American. He asked a general question of who amung the 2 adults and 6 babys and kids spoke english. I said I did. He then asked if any of the kids were mine. I said NO. He then told me that if anyone else wanted to come in to the hot tub, I would be the one to have to leave.

Ship tip
Choose this ship for price and ports of call. It was not very stable on not so rough water. We did a lot of rocking!!!
4 hours in a bus to go to downtown Bordeaux for shopping. Not special and the tour was expensive for what it was........A bus ride. They have a Market 15 minutes from the port and a beach too. Unless you go to a Chateau for a wine experiance, just go to the market clos to the port.
Love this city. 4th time there. Took a bus and canal tour. Advice, skip the bus altogether. The both stop at the same places. Much better experience and better pictures.
Loved this city too. Took a combo bus & lake tour. Their lake(s) are breathtaking. We saw countless little boats and paddle boards everywhare. Their downtown was very historic. We will go to Hamburg again.
