To start, the impact of the CV19/Global Pandemic does not go without mention or some consideration, we've all been impacted to some degree or another and a canceled cruise is low from a priority perspective. However, for those of us impacted by cruise cancellation, a second injury/assault seems to be occurring. On March 31, 2020, MSC cancelled the above mentioned cruise. Offering either a 100% refund (within 60 days of processing the form) OR a 125% cruise credit for future use, both are reasonable and fair terms. I personally elected to receive a full-refund, accepting the "up to 60-days" terms from the 3/31/2020 filing date. I spoke with MSC yesterday (5/21/2020) to inquire about communication I'd received and the status of the refund as we fast approach the 60-day mark, only to be informed that MSC are now refunding people "up to 60-days" after the original sailing date. This is not what the email confirmation from MSC states, nor is it what the own website states as of today, it is a unilateral change to a policy which further impacts its loyal customers and its being done without communication. Buyer beware - if you plan to run out and book a cruise with MSC once it becomes possible again, your "investment" in a family holiday is far from secure with this company. You cannot expect them to honor commitments made verbally or in writing, all are subject to change and potentially illegal. Any company wishing to "rip-off" its customers during this time should be shunned and held accountable to do the right thing. For those of you that may be in dire financial straights due to loss of work, and counting on a refund of your hard earned monies from MSC, don't. This company appears to want to take an interest free loan from its consumers, and hold on to money for 4-6 months, without any regard for your rights as a consumer.

Horrible. MSC is garbage. It is not concerned with public health or the health of passengers. Mercenary company that only thinks about making money, even with such a sad and worrying world scenario. Horrível. MSC é um lixo. Não se preocupa com a saúde pública e nem com a saúde dos passageiros. Empresa mercenária que só pensa em ganhar dinheiro, mesmo com um cenário mundial tão triste e preocupante.

The cruise was spoilt by the outbreak of the corona virus. None reported on the ship. Palma Mallorca was a substitute port of call due to Malta being cancelled which was no fault of MSC. The ship was clean and crew were very efficient at what had to be done regarding the virus. Under the circumstance we had a very enjoyable cruise.

Great time on great ship. Staff, entertainment, cleanliness, food of exceptional quality. All recommendations!

We booked this cruise because of the ship. We were on that same itinerary 3 times already, but the ship looked amazing so we decided to book that cruise because of the ship. It was well worth it, the ship is amazing. There are so many things to do, so many things to explore.

We were a bit leary about even going on the cruise given the crisis which was only occurring in China at the time. MSC was clearly concerned about keeping all of the guests safe and sound and were on the ball with sanitation. They had employees spraying hand sanitizer on each person's hands as they got back on to the ship after each port of call. And also when you went to a show each evening. The key factor was us upgrading to Yacht Club. It just made the entire experience that much better. I personally felt like I was a movie star the entire cruise. I do not think I could ever go on another cruise without the ability to upgrade to a similar package if on another cruise line.

Só não gostei da parada em Palermo. Cidade não tem muitos atrativos e é bem feia. Talvez deveriam parar em Napoles ao invés de Palermo. Também tivemos nossa parada em Malta cancelada por causa do clima e ventos no mar. Nosso dia de navegação foi antecipado por um dia e paramos em Palma de Maiorca que acabou sendo uma gratas surpresa. Adoramos! De maneira geral, o cruzeiro foi muito bom, mas achamos o navio um pouco cheio demais e com várias opções de diversão pagas à parte e com valores caros demais. Comparando com o "Anthem of the Seas" (cruzeiro feito no último ano), gostei mais do funcionamento da Royal Caribean do que da MSC.

The ship was beautiful, clean and easy to navigate. The itinerary was great, although we enjoyed some ports more than others, which is probably natural. Our only problem was that our luggage was lost. However, we did our best to not let it ruin our trip, and it didn't. Btw, we received our luggage when we got home!

It was a nice roundtrip through the western Mediterranean Sea with some place you could visit more than once. The ship is great with lots of activities.

Cruise is a subjective journey. We highly enjoy cruising. This was our first Msc cruise, and our subjective experience is that it do not appeal as highly as other cruise lines we have tried out😊 But Hey a lot of positive too😊

This itinerary was great. But the ship is massive, crowded, and not at all set up to make new friends - one of the things I enjoy about cruising. Thought we would be seated with others for dinner - nope. Table for 2. Thought we would have drink coupons (paid for that level of room). Nope - "discontinued a couple month ago", even though we booked 11 months ago it was no honored. No Library, no piano bar, no quiet space. Tons of upselling and staffers being made to stop you to sell you things (worse than Times Square!). LOVED the MSC Armonia trip to Cuba, and was shocked what a different experience this was. Not sure which is the real MSC. If it is this, then I'm done. No Kleenex available for provided slot in the bathroom because the ship didn't onboard any at last provisioning was just the topper - spending a winter trip having to wipe our noses with toilet paper. That's MSC this trip!

Cruise was great! Staff was awesome! Food was good! Tours were informational! Ship was great1

We sailed YC for its first New Year's cruise. It met all expectations. The kinks were smoothed out and all seemed to run smoothly on our end.

RCI should take MSC cruise out of your list because the bad design of the ship.

This cruise taught me lots about what's important to me when cruising, and what behaviours are deal breakers. On board sales are always the biggest revenue generators for cruises, but the bold faced constant selling mentality of MSC as a company really doesn't do it for me. It is incessant and after a while feels like you're dodging pushy shopping mall kiosk workers or charity donation canvassers on your own holiday. That's a big deal breaker for me. Despite the overall crew providing great service, and the Grandiosa being a sterling ship, I wasn't impressed with the company's overall attitude to its passengers as, frankly, cash cows. There are a lot of things they do right, but the things done wrong sour the rest too much for me.

Overall, was expecting a better experience in this cruise for my 50th. wedding anniversary. Spoke with reservations before cruise to provide a cake for our anniversary, did not happen. Everything seemed to be at a price. Very different from american cruises. Will not sail again with MCS

This trip was a much anticipated experience for us and for some, it was the trip of a lifetime. Some members had never cruised before while others had not travelled internationally. Overall, the cruise experience was good. The food was surprisingly good. There were a LOT of people on the cruise, especially in the buffet dining areas. The cruiseline app had lots of errors and communication to passengers on the ship was less than desirable.

The cruise overall was nice. They do NOT enforce handwashing or hand sanitizer in the buffet. Everyone on the ship was sneezing and coughing into their hands and touching t everything on the ship. Most of the people on the ship seemed sick. We never could get into a show despite trying to reserve daily. The buffet was chaos. The main dining was just bad. The specialty restaurants were all amazing. The best bar on the ship is the English Pub!
