Review summary

MSC focuses so much on the yatch club guests that most times ignores services the rest of the guests. Did not have towels nor toilet paper for 2 days. Had to reach out to guest services 3 times to get Toilet paper. I felt that crew were disconnected from guests. There was a lack of interest in service.

We have done 2 MSC cruises. The first one on the Meraviglia was really nice. The ship was great. We also did the Divina and it was awful never again.

I'm sorry for your experience. Customer service in every industry has fallen remarkably. I've done 2 MSC sailings and didn't have but 1 issue. On the sea side my luggage decided it wanted to sail with the Yacht club because when we finally got it, they had yacht club tags on them. Other than that, they have been great. Thanks for your review.

Every 8 months MSC ships hire new employees, to replace those who decline to renew their contracts or are in the process of being terminated. So many new staff unfortunately don't have much experience. That's why when you ask them something they have no clue or what to do. My problem with employees like that, shows me they don't plan on doing anything but what they're doing. A good employee tries to get an overall picture of what's going on behind the scenes. That's why the better employees are transferred to the yacht club and you seldom run across employees that are too notch. Prior sailings I've had pre-covid were excellent and most of the crew renewed their contracts. The best of the best found new jobs outside of the cruise industry after the pandemic hit, so they're starting from scratch.

I think you had a poor experience. We have cruised both Yacht Club and non-Yacht Club. We have never had issues. Our stewards couldn't have been more helpful and extremely attentive. So sorry you had that experience.
