Review summary
After reading many reviews and discouraged by the negative ones, I was pleasantly surprised to find what a great ship the Divina is. Staff is friendly, respectful and for the most part accommodating. Since I was on a scooter, the minute I grabbed a plate at the buffet, a staff member would assist me to all the stations so I could choose what to eat and take me to a table. Then, brought me my drink. Our server and assistant waited on us hand and foot at the Black Crab. My only complaint is that doors could have an automatic opener for mobility disabled. Crew seemed to like if you asked about their country of origin and about their families. The work shifts of 10 to 12 hours a day and only get to go home every 6, 7 or 8 months. Please carry small bills for tipping as the charge the company adds on is only considered a 'commission' and like in most businesses, favoritism exists to get these commissions. Like someone else mentioned in another review, MSC is just an inch away from being the best cruise line catering to Americans!Embarkation
