I usually sail on Carnival but wanted to give this cruise line a chance. Maybe in another five years I will give it another try. I didn’t really enjoy my cruise except for the private island
Embarkation
2 out of 5
They were having computer issues when we arrived and half of the passengers were not showing on the computer so this caused a delay in getting on the ship
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
I did not care for the food at all. Almost every night I just had steak because I didn’t like anything else on the menu. The French onion soup I did have every night which was very good. Went to the grab and go buffet at 10 for some finger sandwiches just to get a little filled up.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Enjoyed going to the adult pool.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
I felt like the stage shows were pretty good. The musicians were fine also
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I felt like the staff went out of their way to be friendly and considerate. They seem to be very appreciative that you were on board with them. I also liked that our room steward was in a room in the morning and at night. It’s a nice touch that most cruise ships don’t offer anymore
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Everything on this ship seem to be pretty well-maintained. Everything was very clean
Cabin / Stateroom

I liked the layout and the design of the room. However the bed was super uncomfortable. After the third night it was very hard for me to sleep in it again. I was glad when it was time for us to get off of the ship
Love this private island. Went swimming in the bay and saw a lot of fish and a shark while we were swimming. Brought my own snorkeling gear so it worked out really great. It was nice to get off the ship at night and walk around and see the lighthouse show and there was also a dance party on the beach. I definitely wouldn’t mind coming back to this island again
Thanks for the review. Food is obviously subjective, but I found the food to be equivalent to or better than Carnival, royal Caribbean and other lines I have sailed. They tend to have less beef and more seafood.
